MidCentral District Health Board actively seeks Māori into our workforce to reflect the community we serve.
If you are an experienced and efficient administrator and enjoy variety then this could be an opportunity for you.
We are looking to employ staff on a casual basis, but will require you to be available for work over normal business hours between 7.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday (max 8 hours a day). A full day’s work is required for most areas as this role covers planned and unplanned leave in frontline positions. We would prefer it if people applying were available to work over school holiday periods.
There may be the possibility of working on weekends or night shifts depending on the role that is being covered.
We require positivity, flexibility, accurate data entry skills, good time management skills and people that can work within small teams. If you have exceptional typing skills then this would also be an added bonus for some of our roles.
If this sounds like a good fit for you then we look forward to receiving your application.
MidCentral District Health Board is committed to ensuring that children and young people are safe from abuse and harm. As part of our commitment to children and young people, and in line with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014, appointment to positions that involve regular or overnight contact with children will include worker safety checks. These checks are in addition to the requirement to have a satisfactory police clearance. Further information will be provided to shortlisted candidates. More information about the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 is available from the Ministry of Vulnerable Children website.
