Midwifery Education Grants are available for two categories.
Those preparing to become registered midwives and work in MidCentral District Health Board (MDHB), as well as women undertaking a Childbirth Education Course which will contribute to the education of pregnant women in MDHB.
Registered Midwives working in MDHB in an employed or self-employed capacity who are undertaking a continuing education course or postgraduate education or research.
Applicants must know how their proposed course of study or research contributes to the goals of the MDHB Maternity Services Strategy.
Health and Wellbeing Plan
The Te Uru Pā Harakeke Healthy Women Children and Youth Health and Wellbeing Plan 2019-2024 is available to support applications.
