Essential criteria:
Two year's experience as a New Zealand registered nurse or Nursing Council equivalent registered nurse in an acute secondary care facility, ideally with surgical ward or other acute experience eg Operating Theatre/Emergency/ICU.
OR
Three year’s post registration experience in an equivalent secondary care facility outside New Zealand AND completion of the CAP training.
Ward 27, Surgical Services need staff who work quick, think fast and who meet the meet the above criteria.
We have a 0.8FTE role, working rostered, rotating shifts.
Surgical services inpatient wards provide acute/elective services for patients of varying ages and a variety of surgical conditions. The roles are challenging, varied and offer an opportunity to join an enthusiastic, progressive nursing team who pride themselves on providing quality nursing care to patients/families.
