(Scope of Practice – Registered Nurse)

Ward 24/Orthopaedics (and the COVID Ward when/as required) is seeking to employ highly motivated, enthusiastic registered nurses to join the team. Hours of work will be 64 hours a fortnight (0.8FTE) rostered, rotating shifts (permanent and temporary).
 
We are also seeking applications from registered nurses interested in casual duties (no set hours). Please indicate your preference on your cover letter.
 
The roles are challenging, varied and offer an opportunity to join an enthusiastic, progressive nursing team who pride themselves on providing quality nursing care to patients/families.
 
We welcome applications from registered nurses with a current practising certificate, recent surgical experience and a commitment to the provision of excellent patient care. Current PDRP Level 2 (or working toward Level 3) is desirable.

Surgical services inpatient wards provide acute/elective services for patients of varying ages and a variety of surgical conditions.
