(Scope of Practice: Registered Nurse)
The Older Adult Mental Health Service (OAMHS) STAR 1 Inpatient Ward and High Needs Unit is seeking to employ either a Level 2-3 Registered Nurse with preference towards experience in psychiatry/psychogeriatric and medical/ rehabilitation.
As well as demonstrating that you have an affinity for psychogeriatric nursing this team values a team player who is able to demonstrate interpersonal communication skills and a commitment for ongoing quality nursing care in assessment and evaluation skills.
This is a permanent, part time position (36 hours a week), working rostered, rotating shifts including nights.
There is an expectation that the successful applicant will commit to undertake a post graduate certificate in mental health if this has not already been achieved.
The position involves ongoing professional opportunities and will be working with a supportive team environment that includes working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
