We are seeking applications for a 0.8 FTE nurse for the Regional Cancer Treatment Service to work in our Oncology Outpatients. This position will work across all areas within Oncology Outpatients and is Monday-Friday, between the hours of 0800-1630 as rostered for 8 hour shifts.

We invite you to join our Cancer Nursing team.

Cancer nursing in this setting is patient focussed, providing nursing care, education and support. The successful applicant will enhance the coordination, continuity and collaboration of the multi-disciplinary team within the Regional Cancer Treatment Service outpatient setting.

We look forward to receiving applications from enthusiastic nurses with a specialty interest in Oncology Outpatients and a proactive approach to patient management who are willing to engage in specialty specific, professional development opportunities. It is expected that you would have Level 3 PDRP or be willing to work towards this within a negotiated time frame.

This is an exciting opportunity to expand your nursing experience working amongst a diverse multidisciplinary team. Nurses with advanced patient assessment skills, excellent communication and computer knowledge, who enjoy working in a supportive, team environment are invited to apply.
