The Medical Imaging department are seeking a highly organised individual to join their
talented pool of Registered Nurses.
We are looking for nurses who will embrace the challenging, diverse, busy, environment of a Medical Imaging Department. You will be working as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
The successful applicant/s will have the opportunity to work in all modalities of imaging, CT, Ultrasound and assisting with interventional procedures in our Angiography suite.
Full time and part time roles are available. Hours of work will include a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday between the hours of 0800 to 1630 and participation in an on call roster outside of these hours.
Essential requirements include:
- A current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Professional portfolio at level 3
- An ability to adapt easily in a changing environment
- Ability to be flexible and prioritise
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable to have:
- Previous Experience in Radiology or Theatre environments
- 2nd level IV certified
- ACLS Level 6
- IV cannulation
- Completed post graduate education in advanced health assessment
Applicants are required to meet the requirements of the NZ Nursing Council to practise.
