Looking for an opportunity as a non-training Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar?
MidCentral DHB located in Palmerston North City could be the perfect place for you!
Apply now for positions for 2022.
MidCentral DHB provides an excellent grounding for Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrars looking to grow and develop their skills. The hospital has a busy birthing suite with just under 2000 births a year within the DHB. During the last years there we have improved our management of both spontaneous and induced labour with a multidisciplinary approach and a focus on the continuous auditing of outcomes. This has led to a decrease Caesarean Section rates.
In addition there are a range of gynaecological surgeries undertaken and opportunities for both Gynaecology and Obstetric outpatient clinics.
The city of Palmerston North is very liveable and affordable. No sitting in traffic - a 5 – 15 minute commute is the norm and there is lots to do on your down time.
