MidCentral District Health Board has two opportunities for a registered occupational therapists to join the Occupational Therapy Department at Palmerston North Hospital.
These positions are rotational working across the acute wards including medical, surgical and orthopaedic services and would be ideally suited to new graduate therapists.
The successful applicant will be someone who have effective oral and interpersonal communication skills, are able to work under pressure and direction and enjoy meeting the challenges of a varied and changing workload.  You will need to aware of principles around person centred practice, be sensitive to cultural differences and committed to the Treaty of Waitangi.

Palmerston North is a major university city and is at the hub of key routes to the central North Island ski fields, and river adventures. Wellington the capital city, is only a two hour journey by road, as are the wine growing regions of Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa.
