(Scope of Practice: Occupational Therapy)
MidCentral District Health Board has a vacancy for a New Zealand registered occupational therapist, working in our community team, and based within the Occupational Therapy Team at Palmerston North.
This is a permanent full time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities are primarily working with individuals in the community with a focus on providing assessment and intervention in peoples own homes. This position would suit an occupational therapist with experience in wheelchairs, seating and housing modifications and a minimum of two year’s post graduate experience.
There may be circumstances in which you will need to work in other areas of Occupational Therapy including the acute wards or rehabilitation based services.
If you are a NZ Registered Occupational Therapist holding a current annual practicing certificate and have relevant experience in this field with a particular interest in working in the community setting, then please apply.
