MidCentral District Health Board actively seeks Māori into our workforce to reflect the community we serve.
(Scope of Practice: Occupational Therapy)
MidCentral District Health Board has vacancies for registered occupational therapists, working in our community team, based within the Occupational Therapy Service at Palmerston North, Horowhenua and/or Tararua.
These are permanent positions, part or full time, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities are primarily working with individuals in the community and would suit experienced occupational therapists. ENABLE accreditation for wheelchair, seating and housing is an advantage.
If you are a NZ Registered Occupational Therapist holding a current annual practicing certificate with a minimum of two years post graduate experience, and have a particular interest in working in a community setting, then please apply.
A full, current, driver’s licence is essential.
MidCentral District Health Board is committed to ensuring that children and young people are safe from abuse and harm. As part of our commitment to children and young people, and in line with the Children Act 2014, appointment to positions that involve regular or overnight contact with children will include worker safety checks. These checks are in addition to the requirement to have a satisfactory police clearance. Further information will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
