An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, knowledgeable and vibrant person to join our Practice Development Team as a Nurse Educator. The Nurse Educator is a critical player in assuring quality educational experiences that prepare the nursing workforce for a diverse, ever-changing health care environment.
Working as part of a team, the Nurse Educator will work with the Nurse Educator Lead and Primary Health Nurse Leaders to support the primary health integrated service model by enhancing workforce development, learning opportunities and health care delivery for better health gain.
Specifically you will be working with nurses in many roles across a diverse range of services and providers in public health, community and primary health care. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of education and training programmes for these nurses and other health professionals as appropriate. This includes in-service education, seminars, study days, e-Learning and development of educational resources. You need to be able to work autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team and have a strong commitment for nursing and primary health care nursing in particular.
If you are a Registered Nurse with significant nursing and teaching experience in primary heath, a post-graduate qualification and Level 4 PDRP, we would love to hear from you.
