MidCentral has a catchment area of 180,000 people and our Cardiology Service currently provides diagnostic angiography, pacing, echocardiographic services, CTCA and CMRI to the population as well as an integrated heart failure service and inpatient service.
The successful applicant will have proven clinical experience as well as demonstrated understanding of departmental development and the provision of strong clinical governance. In addition, experience in delivering an interventional service from its infancy and working in a rural setting is desirable.
