This is a unique opportunity for an energetic and resourceful Infrastructure Programme Manager to be part of a major hospital development programme which will serve generations to come.  You will work with a passionate and committed team to drive improvements in the way we deliver our services.

We are seeking someone who can challenge the status quo and develop tactical solutions and scope a range of projects to advance the implementation of our infrastructure roadmap.

 
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Contributing to the development of a 10 year development plan and operational capital planning 
  • Scoping programmes of work to advance the organisation’s Infrastructure Strategy.
  • Maintaining strong governance across the programme of work to ensure that all major projects are joined up and focus on the priority areas.  
  • Leading and championing strong asset management planning.
  • Acting as a champion for continuous improvement. Scrutinising and challenging all projects, ensuring continuous improvement acts as a key driver and measurable outcome.
  • Providing professional advice and consultation for building/infrastructure planning and design of improvements and capital construction projects.
To be successful you will need the following:
  • Qualifications and/or significant experience in technical project management
  • At least five years’ experience in managing a variety of large and complex projects with a strong business focus, including identifying the processes needed to get things done and organising people and resources to achieve objectives.
  • A proven track record of delivering quality solutions that meet the business and consumer requirements and provide fully realised benefits, to an agreed schedule and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and enhance successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strength in well-judged problem solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective reasoning skills; thinks laterally across multiple initiatives and workstreams.
  • Remains cool and collected under pressure and can be counted on to hold things together when the unexpected happens.
  • Can work effectively in ambiguous situations and is comfortable managing risk and uncertainty.
