MDHB has an exciting opportunity available within the People and Culture team for an experienced and motivated HR Advisor to work closely with, and under the guidance of a Senior HR Business Partner. The role provides high-quality generalist Human Resource support and advice to designated key clients on all operational human resource matters and requires you to:
- Actively develop and maintain strong working relationships within the People and Culture team, with designated key clients, and throughout the organisation
- Assist with change management
- Support resolving employment issues, conducting investigations and conflict resolution
- Analyse people data and make recommendations
- Lead or support projects as required
This is a challenging and busy role and you will require a high level of resilience and the ability to multi-task in a complex environment. It is also important that you have a sound understanding of NZ employment legislation and experience dealing with complex issues within a unionized environment. The role interacts with a wide range of managers and staff, and requires a considered approach, an enquiring mind and the ability to engage in a mature fashion to gain a full understanding of issues as they present.
