Te Uru Pa Harakeke has an exciting senior nursing opportunity in the Associate Director of Nursing position (ADON).
This is a permanent, part time role working 0.6-0.7FTE.
The ADON role is an integral part of the cluster leadership team providing professional and practice support to frontline nursing leaders and staff which supports them to thrive and deliver services in an integrated way. This includes having a “whole of system” approach to ensuring excellence in nursing practice and professional standards.
The Associate Director of Nursing Uru Pā Harakeke will focus on growing and developing front-line nursing leadership, devolving decision-making, actively supporting leadership capability improvements and enabling clinicians and teams within the service and across the cluster to make good decisions as close to the patient/client as possible.
The role is responsible for leading and contributing to a programme of transformational change and the integration of services across the Uru Pā Harakeke, in partnership with the Clinical Programmes Lead and Planning & Integration Lead.
There is a requirement to participate in the MidCentral Health DHB senior management on call roster and to act for senior leaderships as required.
