MidCentral has a new and exciting vacancy for an Allied Health Assistant to join the Child Development Service based at Palmerston North Hospital.
 
This is a permanent part time position, working 20 hours per week. The Child Development Service operates Monday- Friday between the hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm and hours and days of work will be confirmed with the successful applicant.
 
Primary responsibilities are to work as an active, positive and creative member of the Child Development Service supporting the implementation of allied therapy services (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Language Therapy and Social Work), to meet the needs children with developmental or ongoing disability needs in the community.
 
If you have energy and experience working with the children or in the delivery of health and disability care services we would welcome your application.
 
A full, current, driver’s licence is essential.
