MidCentral Health is the Lead Provider for the central region as part of the national breast screening programme, Breast Screen Aotearoa. The area covers Manawatu, Horowhenua, Tararua, Taranaki, Whanganui, Hawke’s Bay, Gisborne and the East Coast region.
BreastScreen Coast to Coast (BSCC) is looking for an enthusiastic and committed administration assistant to join our team.
The successful applicant will be working as an integral member of a small team providing screening and assessment services to eligible women in the New Zealand National Breast Screening Programme – BreastScreen Aotearoa.
Hours of work available are 40 hours a week, between 7.30 am – 6.30 pm. Flexibility to work within these hours may be required.
The qualities we are looking for in the successful applicant are:
- Well developed telephone and customer service skills
- Administration and data entry experience
- Excellent computer literacy
- The ability to interact well with our client base
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and service improvement
- Flexibility, adaptability and able to work under pressure
- A calm and organised approach to work in a multidisciplinary environment
