Organisations MidCentral District Health Board works with

MidCentral District Health Board (MDHB) is committed to working with all providers of health and disability services, both regionally and nationally.

Local health providers include a range of professional groups and societies, including pharmacists, general practitioners, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, allied health practitioners, community administrators and clinicians.  MDHB brings many of these groups together through a number of committees and reference groups.  There are also established links with local education providers Massey University and UCOL, supporting students through providing training opportunities.

Nationally, collaboration between DHB's occurs at all levels and most professional groups.  MDHB contributes to District Health Boards New Zealand (DHBNZ), an organisation enabling DHB's to work together to progress common issues and projects.
