To work at MidCentral District Health Board (MDHB) you must have evidence of an immigration status that will allow you to work in New Zealand.

If you are not a New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent resident you will need a work permit to be eligible to work in New Zealand. A work permit allows you to live and work in New Zealand for a restricted length of time.

In most cases you will need to obtain New Zealand Registration before applying for a work permit/visa.  Our Registration Boards section lists all of the professional registration boards in New Zealand.

To obtain a work permit/visa forms or to find more information about New Zealand Immigration processes please visit www.immigration.govt.nz

The Discover and Decide website from the Immigration service outlines all the opportunities New Zealand has to offer - from leisure and lifestyle, education, maps, cost of living, housing and frequently asked questions.
