Other Health Priorities

MidCentral District Health Board has also identified other health priority areas, for example the district's health needs in regard to maternity and depression services.

The DHB is also actively involved in the promotion and implementation of the government-led 'Health Eating, Health Action' (HEHA) campaign.

Healthy Eating Healthy Action (HEHA) is the Ministry of Health's strategic approach to improving nutrition and physical activity for all New Zealanders.
