Clinical Networks

MidCentral District Health Board (MDHB) has a continued focus on clinician and consumer involvement in service development and improvement across the region. A Clinical Network structure is in the process of being established. This will replace the District Management Groups and Reference Groups from previous years. A (transitional) Steering Group has been created and will aid in the development of the different District Groups.

Transitional Steering Group (TSG)

The role of this group is to assist MDHB create and maintain a clinical network structure ensuring that clinicians and consumers (and their family/whanau) are the core of health service development and improvement.
Child Health/Tamariki Ora District Group

The Child Health/Tamariki Ora District Group (CHDG) is focused on improving the provision of health services to children and their families/whanau through optimised service development and delivery processes.
Mental Health and Addiction District Group

The Mental health and Addiction District Group (MHADG) is focused on improving the provision of health services to consumers/tangata whaiora and their families/whanau through optimised service development and delivery processes.
Cancer and Palliative Care District Group

The Cancer and Palliative Care District Group is focused on improving the provision of health services to cancer patients and their families/whanau through optimised service development and delivery processes.
