MidCentral District Health Board to Hold Public Forum at Start of PN Meeting

The MidCentral District Health Board is holding an open forum in Palmerston North on Tuesday (16 February 2010) from 10am to about 11am at the start of its normal monthly board meeting.

The forum is an opportunity for members of the public to discuss health issues with Board Members, and the MDHB senior management team and to ask any questions and put forward ideas.

The Manawatu Primary Health Organisation (PHO) will make a presentation to the meeting, updating their work in the Palmerston North city and Manawatu districts.

The public forum is one of four the board intends holding around its region over the next four months. Others are planned for Dannevirke on 16 March, Feilding 0n 20 April, and Levin on 18 May.

The board meeting on 16 February will be held in the Boardroom at the Board Offices, Gate 2B, Heretaunga Street, Palmerston North Hospital at 10am starting with the forum.
