Love and Affection at Expo at Barber Hall
24/02/11
| WellChild Tamariki Ora Expo
Love and affection is an essential part of any child’s life and an upcoming expo in Palmerston North will help families access support to make love and affection easier to achieve.
Access to health, advice and support can often make it easier for parents, and Palmerston North’s WellChild Tamariki Ora Expo on Friday 11 March 2011 at the Barber Hall in Waldegrave Street, will help families identify who can help.
It will be open to the public from 10am to 3pm.
Entry is free to the public, and the expo offers valuable opportunities to increase the public profile of health and other services for children.
The theme for Children’s Day (a week earlier) is Love and Affection and stall-holders will be using the same theme.
The expo offers parents and families a chance to chat to a nurse or other health professional about any concerns about their children.
There will also be agencies who support families in need, or provide child care, and educational agencies.
So, come along if you have children, or if you’re expecting a baby. Along with the information and the advice there will be giveaways and prizes.
