Carol singing at Palmerston North Hospital will be held this Thursday 17 December, and at Horowhenua Health Centre tomorrow (15 December).
The public is invited to come along and join staff in singing some of the Christmas favourite carols like Silent Night, O Come all ye Faithful, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, First Noel, and Jingle Bells.
The public is invited to join staff in the Palmerston North Hospital foyer at 7.15pm for a warm-up, sing along together, before splitting into groups and going around hospital wards at 7.30pm.
People, including children, are encouraged to wear bright clothing, and any Christmas hats, earrings, Santa suits, and bring flashing coloured lights, torches and lightsticks (as candles are now banned for safety reasons).
A light supper will be provided in the Lookout Café at the end of the carol singing for those taking part.
There will also be a chance for Horowhenua people to join in a carol-singing session in the Horowhenua Health Centre foyer, meeting at 6.45pm for a 7pm start tomorrow evening (Tuesday 15 December).
People also are invited to dress in Christmas attire at the Horowhenua gathering.
