MidCentral Health holds Amnesty for Return of Equipment

| Equipment amnesty
An amnesty is being held by MidCentral Health for the return of loan hospital equipment that patients have finished using.
The loan equipment pool is getting short of a wide range of equipment, so the call has gone out to return any equipment that is no longer needed by the patients.
The loan pool is especially short of equipment like over toilet frames, shower stools, commodes, raised toilet seats and almost all other loan items.
Anyone who has hospital equipment their family member no longer needs, or even equipment left behind by previous owners MidCentral Health would welcome its immediate return so other patients can benefit from its use.
Equipment can be returned, with no questions asked, to Palmerston North Hospital’s information desk, the Horowhenua Health Centre’s customer services desk, the Dannevirke Community Hospital, or Clevely Centre in Feilding.
People unable to return it personally can also call (06) 350-8872 and leave information about where it can be picked up from.
