Cushla King Appointed Leader Provider Manager/Quality Co-ordinator BSCC

Dr Glyn Thomas Clinical Director of BreastScreen Coast to Coast and I are pleased to announce the appointment of Cushla King to the position of Lead Provider Manager/Quality Co-ordinator, BreastScreen Coast to Coast.

Cushla joined MidCentral Health as a trainee sonographer working in Medical Imaging in 2000. She stepped up to Charge Sonographer in 2001, and later to clinical coordinator of ultrasound and mammography in 2003.

She has been active across the organisation being involved in root cause analysis, the women’s health project, service reviews and more recently as acting team leader for Medical Imaging.

Cushla brings a particular passion for women’s health to the role after a long association as a sonographer with the Women’s Health Unit.

We are sure everyone in BreastScreen Coast to Coast will welcome Cushla to the service and appreciate the skills she brings to the position.
