This year's Primary Health Awards will be held at the Palmerston North Convention Centre on 24 October 2007.
MidCentral District Health Board is delighted to announce the launch of the Primary Health Awards 2007.

This year the awards will coincide with a two day primary health conference - The Towards 2010 Conference.
The awards and conference are an indicator of MidCentral’s pride in the strong primary sector within the district and a measure of our ongoing commitment to further develop and support primary health care.
Health service organisations, personnel and volunteers who deliver primary health care services in MidCentral District are eligible to apply for these awards.
The award categories are:
Excellence in Primary and Secondary Collaboration and Integration Award
Excellence in Community Maori Health Services Award
Health Promotion Initiatives in Schools Award
Excellence in Services for Older People Award
Excellence in Community Mental Health Services Award
Innovation Award
Excellence in Child and/or Youth Health Services Award
Business Partnerships Award
General Practice Team of the Year Award
Supreme Award 2007—Leadership in Primary Health Care Award
The application pack provides you with information about the award categories, eligibility criteria and the prizes. It also contains the application details for all ten categories – designed to attract as many types of providers of primary health care services as possible.

Applications will be judged by a panel including MidCentral DHB Board members, community and Funding Division representatives.
