The Children’s Ward at Palmerston North Hospital received a very welcome donation of four brand new prams from Tailorednz, a Palmerston North based financial consultancy.
Tailorednz kindly donated four Phil and Teds prams to the Children’s Ward. The prams are used by staff to help settle children and provide them comfort.
Tracy Stone, Children’s Ward Charge Nurse said: “We are so grateful to Tailorednz for thinking of us with their donation. The prams are used by all our staff, and this donation comes at the perfect time. Prams are the last thing parents think about when they are getting their child to the hospital, so these will be helpful to have on the ward. We’d like to extend our thanks to Tailorednz for their generous donation. ”
Steven Radich, Tailorednz’s Director and Financial Advisor said: “As a company we decided instead of sending clients gifts, we would rather use the money to help fill a need. We would also like to thank Phil and Teds who also helped with the donation, by discounting the prams which meant we were able to buy four of them. We are so excited to present these prams to the Children’s Ward. We know that they are valuable to both the parents and staff on the ward.”
Brendan and Kerri Clare, parents of a patient in the ward, helped to source the prams from Phil and Teds, and presented the donation alongside Steven.
