MidCentral District Health Board to Hold Public Forum at Start of Levin Meeting
The MidCentral District Health Board is holding an open forum for the public in Levin on Tuesday 15 August 2017 from 10am to about 11am at the start of its normal monthly board meeting.
The forum is an opportunity for members of the local community to discuss health issues with the board members and the DHB’s executive leadership team and to get their questions answered.
Kathryn Cook, the DHB’s chief executive said: “The Board holds at least one of its eight meetings each year in the Horowhenua/Otaki region and enjoys the opportunity to talk with local residents. Our conversations usually canvass a wide range of topics and we look forward to seeing what this year’s forum brings.
“Through the work we are doing locally to develop a Horowhenua/Otaki Health and Wellbeing Plan it is clear there is strong support for local health and disability services and we have received a lot of ideas and suggestions about future enhancements and priorities.”
The board meeting on 15 August will be held at the Horowhenua Health Centre main meeting room, 62 Liverpool Street, Levin starting at 10am, commencing with the forum.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
