MidCentral District Health Board (DHB) would like to wish all the Whanau Tri participants good luck for the event on Sunday.

MidCentral DHB have been supporting the Whanau Tri for a number of years. The Whanau Tri is a fantastic event for families in the district to get active together, and thanks to Sport Manawatu they can also recieve support beforehand to train for the event. It is designed for all ages and activity levels and is an event enjoyed by many families from Palmerston North, Feilding, Levin and Otaki.

David Jermey, Primary Health Care Portfolio Manager said: “We would like to wish those who will be participating in the Whanau Tri, the best of luck for Sunday. We hope that the training programme has been beneficial in supporting you to achieve your goals, and complete the Whanau Tri. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone have fun and enjoy themselves on the day.

“Sport Manawatu have created a fantastic training programme and event that we gladly support. It’s been an event that we’re really excited to get behind because it supports families to get active together and Sport Manawatu run this so fantastically.”

The Whanau Tri will be held on Sunday 2 April from 7:30am at Ongley Park, you can still register in person at that time if you would like to participate.
