Leigh Rosanoski Founder and CEO of Kind Hearts Trust, is urging women to be kind to themselves.

She said: “We matter. We’re really important and it’s important to be kind to ourselves. Take the opportunity to get detected early. Breast screening is a great system, but it does require you going every two years for them to catch things early.”

Leigh is one of the faces for the BreastScreen Coast to Coast ‘Time to Screen’ campaign, and she is supporting the cause because of how breast cancer has affected her family. Leigh has had three aunties who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and like many others she has seen the effect it has on families.

BreastScreen Coast to Coast Manager, Denise Mallon said: “We really appreciate Leigh’s support with our Time to Screen campaign. We’ve heard many stories like this and this is why we are encouraging women to take the time to screen. Regular screening means that we can pick things up earlier, and this means we can catch it before it spreads.”

Breast screening is free for women aged between 45 and 69 years. Call 0800 270 200 to book an appointment.
