A Ministry of Health survey that looked at customer satisfaction for people who had used the Government-funded equipment and modification service managed by Enable New Zealand, has produced excellent results.
The survey is used to gain a better understanding of where Enable New Zealand is doing well, and where improvements can be made. The results showed that for all five survey questions, between 87 and 93 percent of customers were either satisfied or very satisfied with the level of service provided by Enable New Zealand.
This included 92.6 percent of people who were satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of their equipment, housing modification, or vehicle modification, and 91.7 percent who found the modifications to be very helpful.
Enable New Zealand’s General Manager, Scott Ambridge is very pleased with the results.
He said: “These results show that we are providing our services to a level that customers expect. Helping people to live everyday lives in their community is what Enable New Zealand aims to do, and when we have surveys that show that nearly 95 percent of people find our equipment and modifications to be helpful, it is apparent that we are meeting this aim.
“Of course there is some feedback that highlights areas we can improve in, and we welcome these comments so we can work on these, to ensure we are providing the highest quality service possible.”
The overall message of the survey was that Enable New Zealand is continuing to provide an excellent service that contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction.
