Enable New Zealand staff member Rebeka Adamson has been awarded the 2015 Association of Administrative Professionals of New Zealand Inc. (AAPNZ) Administrative Professional Award.
Rebeka Adamson is the Personal Assistant to Enable New Zealand’s Operations Director and won the award after meeting vigorous selection criteria and attending the AAPNZ AGM & Conference in Christchurch. She gave an introductory speech followed by an interview with a panel of judges. For her efforts she won a range of gifts from sponsors, including travel, accommodation, jewellery and some opportunities for further professional development.
Rebeka is passionate about administration as a career path, and has achieved a Diploma in Business Administration and a Certificate in Quality Assurance. She is currently studying towards a Graduate Diploma leading into a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies, with the assistance of the Doreen Smart Scholarship she received earlier this year through AAPNZ.
David Andrews, Operations Director for Enable New Zealand said that “Rebeka is a real asset to the team here. Her passion for what she does is obvious to our entire team, and we are so proud of her achievement. It is well deserved.”
