BreastScreen Coast to Coast will be taking a break between Christmas and New Year, re-opening as normal on Monday 9 January 2017.

BSCC will close on Friday 23 December  and open on Monday 9 January 2017 at 8 am. Starting on Wednesday the 11 January will be their popular ‘Walk-In’ Wednesdays, where women aged 45-69 can turn up to the Amesbury Street building without an appointment, and be fitted in for breast screening among people with appointments.
Also on Monday 9 January from 9 am the BSCC Mobile Unit will be open at the Feilding Health Care Centre, 7 Duke Street, Feilding. This is a new venue, and will be open there until Friday 10 February for Feilding women to be screened.
Women worried about their health, especially the health of their breasts, during the closure period, should contact their GP, or after-hours clinic, or Healthline 0800 611 116 for advice.
