Ward 29: General/Vascular Surgery

MidCentral Health’s Ward 29 cares mainly for patients who are admitted to hospital for general and vascular surgery/treatment.
The average length of stay for general and vascular surgery patients is four days.
 
Nursing and medical staff work collaboratively and in partnership with all members of the allied health team to ensure optimum care is provided to all patients.
 
Visiting hours for Ward 29 are daily from 2pm-8pm. For more information about visiting please view General Information for Patients and Visitors.
 
Nursing and medical staff work collaboratively and in partnership with all members of the allied health team to ensure optimum care is provided to all patients. Other MidCentral Health services such as social workers, physiotherapists and occupational therapists support patients in the ward. Other services include the Palliative Care team, and Hospital in the Home.
