Many patients travel from throughout the lower North Island to have radiation therapy. RCTS Radiation Oncology provides radiation therapy care to people in the Manawatu, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Wanganui, Horowhenua and Wairarapa.
Accommodation is available for people who live 100kms or more form Palmerston North. Travel
assistance is available via shuttles, volunteer drivers or financial assistance. The travel assistance available depends on the location you are travelling from, the times, and the frequency you travel.
