Māori Health Unit: Providing Advice and Support

The Māori health unit provides advice and support to Te Whatu Ora MidCentral on the provision of appropriate services to meet Māori health needs as well as providing support for whanau.
 
Referral to the Māori Health Unit:
  • Cultural safety issues/barriers to health services
  • Clinical information, for example current health problems etc
  • Iwi Health Provider and other Maori community information
