The ophthamology service at MidCentral Health sees patients with a wide range of morbidity of the eyes, orbits and visual system and provides the appropriate medical or surgical management for these.

Ophthalmology services at MidCentral Health include outpatient clinics at the Ambulatory Care Centre at Palmerston North Hospital, Monday to Friday. Emergency treatment is available for acute patients.
