Ward 26 Medical

MidCentral Health’s ward 26 is a medical ward that cares for patients with neurological diseases, diabetes, and heart diseases.  It also cares for gastroenterology patients and houses a stroke unit with a stroke team.

Ward 26 has 32 beds, six of which are in single rooms.

Other MidCentral Health services such as social workers, physiotherapists and occupational therapists support patients in the ward. Other services include the Palliative Care team, and Hospital in the Home.

Visiting hours for Ward 26 are daily from 2pm-8pm. For more information about visiting please read General Information for Patients and Visitors.
