Dental Health promotion, education and treatment services for children and adolescents are provided throughout MidCentral District Health Board.
Families are encouraged to enrol their children with the regional school dental services as infants and to ensure their teenagers are enrolled with the free adolescent services too.
Primary and community services like primary health organisations (PHO) also support dental health through education, promotion and by facilitating the enrolment process.

You must be referred by a GP, dentist, school dental therapist, consultant or house surgeon to access MidCentral Health’s dental service.
