One of eight lead providers for the Ministry of Health's National programme - BreastScreen Aotearoa - is BreastScreen Coast to Coast (BSCC) which covers the Taranaki, Whanganui, Hawke's Bay, Tairawhiti and MidCentral District Health Boards.

Mammograms
Mammograms are available year round at:
- 27 Amesbury Street Palmerston North (base centre)
- Fulford Radiology, New Plymouth
- PMI, Whanganui
- Hawke’s Bay Radiology, Hastings & Napier
- Gisborne Radiology, Gisborne
Mobile Unit
A Mobile Unit covers Te Puia, Wairoa, Waipukurau, Dannevirke, Pahiatua, Otaki, Levin, Foxton, Feilding, Marton, Taihape, Ohakune, Hawera, Stratford and Waitara.
This is a screening programme for women aged 45 to 69 with no breast symptoms. No referral is required. Phone 0800 270 200 to enrol.
