FURTHER NOTICE OF ELECTION FOR THE 2016 MIDCENTRAL DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD ELECTION
Nominations have now closed for the 2016 MidCentral District Health Board election. As the number of nominations received exceeds the number of vacancies, an election as listed below will be held on Saturday 8 October 2016.
The election will be conducted by postal voting. Voting will open on Friday 16 September 2016 and will close at 12.00noon on Saturday 8 October 2016.
Election of Members for the MidCentral District Health Board (7 required)
This election will be conducted using the Single Transferable Voting electoral system. Candidates nominated are:
EGAN, Martin (Independent)
FEYEN, Michael (Independent)
FINDLAY, Lew (Independent)
MANOHARAN, Nadarajah (Independent)
McCANN, Duncan (Independent)
WALDON, John (Independent)
WETH, John (Independent)
Enrolment and Special Voting Arrangements
Residents within the District Health Board area who are not listed on the final electoral rolls for the election can enrol by calling 0800 ENROL NOW (0800 36 76 56), visiting the Elections website (www.elections.org.nz
) or obtaining enrolment forms at postshops or city or district council libraries or offices within the area up to 4pm on Friday 7 October 2016.
Special voting facilities for the above elections will be available at the relevant city or district council offices in the area during normal office hours between Friday 16 September and Friday 7 October 2016 and from 9am to 12noon on Saturday 8 October 2016.
These offices include the Palmerston North City Council, and the Manawatu, Tararua, Horowhenua and Kapiti Coast District Council.
