Manawhenua Hauora Maori Community Health Survey
Manawhenua Hauora has developed a consumer client survey for whanau/hapu/iwi members to capture the perceptions of Maori consumers and contribute to understanding how the health system is working and whether it needs some improvement for Maori.

We appreciate your attention and participation to this brief survey. This will help us to know more about health issues that affect you and your whanau and provide valuable input into the District Annual Health Plan for the MidCentral DHB region.
Manawhenua Hauora (Iwi Consortium) was established by a Memorandum of Understanding between the MidCentral District Health Board and the Iwi (tangata whenua) residing in the Manawatu, Horowhenua, Tararua and Otaki areas. The objective was to achieve the best health outcomes for Maori. We have been able to advance:
- a common interest and commitment to advancing health
- building on the gains and understandings already made in improving Maori Health
- applying the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi to work to achieve the best outcomes for Maori Health, and
- partnership and mutual regard.
The results of the community survey are reported annually through Manawhenua Hauora's annual report.
