Election Timeline & General Information
The 2010 election period opens on 23 July 2010. The membership of the DHB Board is for a three-year term. The triennial DHB elections are held in association with local government elections. Seven Board Members are selected through the election process. The Minister of Health then appoints up to a further four members.
Election Terms
The 2007-10 election term ends on 5 December 2010.
Elections for the 2010-13 term take place on 9 October 2010.
DHB Electoral Officer and Other Contacts
MidCentral DHB's Electoral Officer is John Annabell, Palmerston North City Council. John liaises with Electoral Officers from all territorial authorities within the DHB's district to co-ordinate DHB election activities.
