Cynric Temple-Camp

I am a Doctor living in Palmerston North and have been working at the Public Hospital for 23 years. I lead Medlab Central, your community and hospital laboratory, which provides diagnostic services for the entire region. I am married to Elayne, who also is a Doctor working at the hospital. We have three children.

I have served on the Board of the MidCentral DHB and on the Hospital Advisory Committee over the past 6 years. I am on the Chamber of Commerce representing the health sector.

I work closely with General Practitioners, Nurses, Midwives, Cervical Smear Takers, Hospital Doctors and Specialists on a daily basis.

I am committed to improving Health services across our region and will lobby to strengthen the medical workforce and improve your access to quality services. Vote for Cynric Temple-Camp as first candidate (1) for an experienced medical voice on the Board.

Conflict of Interest Statement

 

I have the following current conflicts of interest with the MidCentral District Health Board (DHB):

I am the CEO of Medlab Central Ltd, a business unit of Sonic Healthcare Ltd. Medlab provides Pathology services to the MidCentral, Whanganui, Wairarapa and Tairawhiti DHBs.

I am the CEO of Broadway Radiology, a business unit of Sonic Healthcare Ltd.

My wife, Dr Elayne Knottenbelt, is employed by the DHB as a Medical Consultant in Haematology.

I do not believe that any conflicts of interest are likely to arise in future, other than the continuation of the conflicts of interest stated above.
