Pat Kelly
I was elected to MidCentral Health Board in 2004-07, and served on Community and Public Health and Disability Support Advisory Committees, and on the Governance Group of Enable New Zealand. I have always believed in establishing quality health care in the district. Therefore I am committed to listening to the concerns and trying to resolve the health needs of people living in the district. If elected I will communicate with, advocate for and deal promptly with health problems of people, and speak out on what I believe to be the health issues in the district.
I have been married to Janet for 45 years, and we have two adult daughters. I retired from teaching Business Studies at Massey University in 2006. I am a supporter of the Public Health Association, and enjoy serving the community as a Justice of the Peace.
Conflict of Interest Statement
To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no conflicts of interest with the MidCentral District Health Board (DHB) at the date of my notice of consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership of the board of the DHB, and I do not believe that any such conflicts of interest are likely to arise in future.
