Election Timeline & General Information

The 2010 election period opens on 23 July 2010. The membership of the DHB Board is for a three-year term. The triennial DHB elections are held in association with local government elections. Seven Board Members are selected through the election process. The Minister of Health then appoints up to a further four members.
Nominations & Information for Candidates

The nomination period for the 2010 DHB elections will open on Friday 23 July 2010 and close at 12 noon on Friday 20 August 2010. Information regarding the nomination process, election expenses, and the DHB are available for candidates. Nomination and Return of Electoral Expenses forms are also available.
Notice of Elections

Two formal notices of elections have been issued by the DHB Electoral Officer, John Annabell.
Results

The official result for the election of seven members of the MidCentral District Health Board held on Saturday 9 October 2010 has been declared by the DHB Electoral Officer, John Annabell.
