Disability Support Advisory Committee
The Disability Support Advisory Committee has eight members, and advises on the disability support needs of the resident population of the District Health Board. It also provides advice to the Board on priorities for use of the disability support funding provided.
DSAC looks at the district's disability support needs.

Function of the Disability Support Advisory Committee
The Disability Support Advisory Committee is responsible for advising on the disability support needs of the resident population of the District Health Board. It also provides advice to the Board on priorities for use of the disability support funding provided. Terms of Reference detail its role.
The DHB’s management provides reports on disability issues to the Disability Support Advisory Committee and these can then be assessed and monitored against the performance objectives set out in the annual plan and other relevant accountability documents.
Committee meetings will be open to the public with the committee reserving the right to "go into committee" on particular agenda items.
