Community & Public Health Advisory Committee
The Community & Public Health Advisory Committee has nine members, and advises on the health and disability needs of the population of MidCentral. The committee also gives advice on priorities for use of the funding provided by the Crown.
CPHAC looks at the health needs of the district.

Function of the Community & Public Health Advisory Committee
The Community & Public Health Advisory Committee is responsible for advising on the needs of the population of MidCentral and any factors it believes may adversely affect the health status of the population. The committee also gives advice on priorities for use of the funding provided by the Crown. Terms of Reference detail its role.
The General Manager, Funding Division provides reports on hospital performance to the Community & Public Health Advisory Committee and these can then be assessed and monitored against the performance objectives set out in the annual plan and other relevant accountability documents.
Committee meetings will be open to the public with the committee reserving the right to "go into committee" on particular agenda items.
